The Azure Storage team is looking for a Technical Program manager to work closely with other Product Managers, Software Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders including our finance, operations, and sales teams. You will collaborate on implementing telemetry and reporting innovations to help derive new business insights and drive additional efficiencies and growth. You will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing analysis models used for assessing the profitability of selected storage workloads and use cases. #azureOWS
Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in building, maintaining, and enhancing the data pipeline and reporting infrastructure used for tracking the consumption of Azure Storage services.
- Collaborating with other Product and Technical Program managers to utilize data as a tool for extracting the insights needed to drive increased operational efficiencies and customer consumption of Azure Storage services.
- Collaborating with finance to analyze the cost structure and margins of utilizing storage in selected workloads and use cases.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Professional experience in data science (including machine learning), finance, or storage technology
- 2+ years of professional experience in using computing languages (such as Python, SQL, R, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience designing insights and developing Power BI dashboards or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience with RDMS such as Microsoft SQL Server and Business Intelligence tools such as Kusto, Cosmo, Excel, Power Query, and Azure SQL Server or equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
