Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provides support to end users for either PC, server, or mainframe applications and hardware:
    • Responds to telephone calls, emails, and personnel requests for technical support.
    • Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
    • Interacts with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems.
  • Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education: Associate Degree and 2 years of technical education, or equivalent experience.

Field of Study: Computer Information Systems or a related discipline.

Experience: 0 to 3 years of related experience.
