Overview:
The VP, Business Technology for Ground Control functions as the key technology partner to Newport Private Wealth leadership and leads the technology roadmap and delivery for the business. The role contributes to pinpointing where technology is needed, collaborates on solutions with enterprise technology teams, and ensures those solutions drive measurable operational and client outcomes.
This leader will bridge Ground Control's distinct business management framework with Wealthspire's enterprise platforms and strategic direction. The role focuses on unifying and refining workflows across the U.S. and U.K. It seeks to minimize manual tasks, boost data quality and reporting, and expand the business without sacrificing client responsiveness.
Ground Control Business Priorities
- Develop a cohesive technology roadmap for Ground Control throughout the United States and United Kingdom, while considering local operational and regulatory requirements.
- Improve and automate high-volume business management workflows, including onboarding, service delivery, approvals, transaction processing, financial operations, reporting, and exception management.
- Reduce fragmented tools and manual handoffs by connecting business workflows to Wealthspire enterprise platforms, shared data, and integration capabilities.
