NFP Corp is looking for an Accounts Receivable Processor to join their team.

The Accounts Receivable Processor reports to the Team Lead, Cash Client Agency Bill. They are responsible for accurately posting client payments to open receivables.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the daily operations of the accounts receivable department
  • Responsible for coding, batching and processing cash application
  • Utilize NFP systems
  • Daily balancing and reconciliation of deposits, cash applied & unapplied cash (COA)
  • Obtain approval to process adjustments or small balance write offs as part of cash application process
  • Participate with internal and audit requests
  • Work with regional accounting personnel to resolve receivable issues while maintaining effective working relationships

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

  • Ability to accomplish goals while meeting deadlines
  • Possess good analytical skills, problem solving skills, and good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic

Education and/or Experience:

  • 2-3 years insurance experience strongly preferred
  • High school diploma required; some college preferred
  • Must be able to manage projects efficiently and effectively, as well as, meet set deadlines
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and be able to adapt to/understand various accounting systems
  • Steady work experience
