Summary

Gound Control Business Management, a subsidiary of NFP, is looking to hire a Bookkeeper II. This person works as a team under the supervision of an Account Manager to provide day-to-day services in the areas of bookkeeping, insurance guidance and monthly cash flow reporting to high net worth and entertainment industry clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cash receipts
  • Cash disbursements
  • Post journal entries
  • Generate repetitive invoices
  • Process mail (open, sort, prep for scanning and AP processing)
  • Credit card processing
  • Accounts Payable processing (urgent requests)
  • Print checks, pre-authorized debits, wires
  • Bank reconciliations and monthly cash flow reports
  • Scanning – Imaging and Document
  • Correspondence with vendors
  • Correspondence with clients as needed
  • Process TMGJ postage reports quarterly
  • Upload documents for InAssist / monthly reports
  • Messenger/ Fed-ex packages
  • Reconcile guild statements quarterly
  • Weekly bank transfers

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

  • Fully versed in bookkeeping knowledge and concepts
  • Working knowledge of brokerage statements or the ability to quickly learn how to book brokerage statements
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Payroll processing
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneously
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Dedicated work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence
  • Experience working in a team environment

Education and/or Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Business Management or related industry (desired but not required)
  • Experience with Datafaction Software (desired but not required)
  • Strong bookkeeping or accounting knowledge
  • High school diploma

The base salary range for this position is $52,000 – $72,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
