This is a hybrid position with in-office flexibility 2-3 days a week.

Summary:

In this role at NFP, you will be supporting and driving marketing efforts and sales needs across the Retirement business line in support of overarching marketing goals. Your ability to handle various tasks at a time and exercise independent strategic discernment is needed to best align marketing and sales to meet the revenue goals for the company. Your social skills and demeanor give you the vital ability to produce positive relationships with colleagues and clients as well as outside vendors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Annual strategic planning and budgeting
  • Marketing scoping and general project management
    • Including working with the business line to assess goals, drafting marketing plans in support of said goals, and working within designated project management software to execute on deliverables by assigning and tracking tasks for relevant marketing team members
  • Continuous competitive analysis and identification on industry trends
  • Understanding various product sets, services and industries and accompanying needs to develop strategic integrated marketing solutions – including overarching campaigns, collateral, digital, advertising, sponsorships, tradeshows, and additional marketing.
  • Collaboration across multiple stakeholders across marketing as well as client support
    • This includes working with our internal marketing brand team as well as other NFP teams as needed (HR, training, technology, etc.) to execute on deliverables/projects
  • Collaboration with sales enablement in development of materials and prospect marketing to align with sales goals.
  • Execution of national internal and external communications where applicable to targeted clients
    • This includes both planned publications in addition to various launches/rollouts/updates throughout the year (executive memos, product/service launches, trend reports/surveys, relevant NFP/industry/regulatory updates, etc.)
  • Development and execution of cross-product campaigns including cross-sell with existing clients and lead generation with prospects
  • Day-to-day sales support including presentations and materials
  • Marketing support for tradeshows and webinars, coordinating closely with the teams responsible for event management and training development/delivery
  • Managing marketing maintenance and evolution to new onboard capabilities as new expertise is added within the business
  • Key stakeholder for enterprise-wide initiatives that require marketing support
  • Management of additional marketing support employee with the potential to grow larger team
  • Additional projects in support of corporate goals as needed.

Education/Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 5 years of marketing/communications experience
  • Retirement industry knowledge
  • Experience in marketing plan/strategy/timeline development
  • Understanding of the sales/lead nurturing process and how marketing fits into that structure
  • Familiarity/experience with a broad range of tools:
    • Salesforce (or similar CRM)
    • Pardot (or similar marketing automation platform)
    • Marketing Library/Content Management System
  • Tradeshow and industry sponsorship marketing management
  • General project management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $150,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
