SUMMARY
This is a full-time summer internship, working with our Environmental Liability Practice to support operations sales while building strong relationships with clients and internal team members.
What you will do
To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Understand placement protocols, development of placement techniques, and bringing placements to final stages
- Work closely with colleagues to understand client needs and wants
- Gather underwriting information and administer related tasks
- Knowledge of sales processes and development of new client relationships
- Understand insurances coverage options while considering client needs
- Support senior brokers with marketing placements
- Ability to understand and prepare contracts
- Other duties as assigned
Who you are
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Customer service oriented
- Strong problem solving ability

- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication (verbal and writing) and interpersonal skills
- Be able to initiate and follow through with independent projects
Education and/or Experience
- Junior or senior of a four-year university preferred
