Okta is seeking an experienced Director, Engineering & Product FP&A, who will be a key player in supporting the Workforce Identity Cloud's Product and Engineering teams. In this role, deep partnerships are the foundational elements with both the business and counterparts within Finance and Accounting. This individual will be hands-on, driving outstanding financial results through analytics, partnerships, and process, while leading a talented group of FP&A managers and analysts.

We are looking for highly motivated team player who has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to work cross functionally, as well as independently. *This position can be remote, but candidates must be willing to work Pacific Time Zone hours*

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead core financial processes across the team including monthly reviews, quarterly forecasts, annual planning and long range plan cycles
  • Create and review executive level reports to inform senior leadership on financial performance and provide guidance on near-term and long-term risks and opportunities
  • Partner with the Engineering and Product teams to drive short-term and long-range workforce capacity and efficiency planning
  • Ability to develop deep cross-functional partnerships and become a key advisor to our respective leadership teams
  • Analyze financial results, distill and synthesize key trends, assess current and future business risk, and communicate key messages to executive leadership
  • Drive improvements within existing financial models and forecasting tools including system and process related enhancements
  • Immerse yourself in the business to become an expert while bringing enterprise financial insights & external perspectives to your partners
  • Develop and coach the team to support our functional objectives and ultimately their goals

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years experience in FP&A with a focus on business partnering and support
  • Proven ability to build and lead high performing teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • MBA, Big 4 accounting, or investment banking experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with FP&A systems required, Anaplan experience is a plus
  • Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel/GSheet and strong presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$182,000$255,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $202,000$283,000 USD
