The Team

The Workplace HQ Site Managerwill oversee and manage our workplace operations team at our San Francisco HQ office and curate programs, experiences and support events that build and amplify Okta’s mission, values, and culture.

The Opportunity

The ideal candidate will excel at managing a medium sized team of multi skilled individuals while building relationships with key stakeholders and executive leadership. This position requires strong customer service acumen to support a diverse onsite clientele. This individual will also need to be employee experience-oriented and have a hospitality mindset. The ideal candidate should also have vast F&B experience as this role will lead the global F&B program at Okta.

This is a full-time role based in San Francisco and reports to the North American Operation Sr. Manager. While we offer dynamic workplace policies that enable our employees to work from anywhere, this role requires you to be in the office.

What you’ll be doing

• Sit onsite in San Francisco and manage HQ Workplace team that supports, meeting operations, F&B, R&M, Shipping and Receiving, and onsite events.
• Manage and forecast the office budget and spend, create, and update policies and procedures, and other responsibilities
• Responsible for leading the Global Food & Connections program, driving connection and Okta culture
• Responsible for the cost-effective management of service contracts. Responsible for periodic and ongoing performance and financial review, conducting RFP’s, and assuring monthly and quarterly performance reviews of staff and vendors
• Partner with landlord property managers and all key workplace services vendors, contractors and suppliers in support of our tenancy
• Flexibility. Has the ability to pivot and work in fast-paced, high-pressure situations. Willing to roll up sleeves and get in the trenches
• Innovate. Introduces new ways at solving problems and generating ideas

What you’ll bring to therole

• 6+ years of experience in office management, employee experience, events or related fields (global experience a plus!)
• 3+ years of direct team managing
• Position is an "on-call 24/7” role with presence in the office M – F, 8am – 5pm expected
• Must have strong management and leadership skills and experience with managing relationships with cross functional teams
• Excellent technical, interpersonal, and analytical skills required
• Excellent written and oral communications skills required
• Strong computer and systems knowledge – including ticketing and space management software, Workday, G Suite etc.
• College Degree preferred

Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
