The Team
Okta’s Tech Partner/Corp Dev team is responsible for incubating partnerships that drive growth in new segments and verticals, and expand the Okta product. This team leads all aspects of identifying, evaluating, and executing large-scale partnerships that drive Okta’s overall strategy.
The Opportunity
Okta is looking for an experienced Director, Cloud and Growth to lead our efforts with select strategic partners, with a focus on cloud infrastructure partnerships. This person will own the entire partner engagement lifecycle from partner incubation, to solution definition/build, to working closely with the alliances team on go-to-market strategy and metrics. This role reports into the leader of Technical Strategy and Partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building strategies and supporting partnerships to win in the enterprise, Public Sector and/or regulated verticals. This includes experience incubating high-growth alliances with large technology companies and/or cloud service providers with the goal of opening new markets and/or expanding Okta’s product offering. This candidate must have a demonstrated ability to build relationships across disciplines and think strategically about both business and technical challenges.
What you will be doing
- Identify and incubate new partnership opportunities, build a supporting business case
- Evaluate and prioritize partnership opportunities, performing quantitative and qualitative due diligence
- Build close alignment with stakeholders across Okta’s product, engineering, marketing, sales, and communications teams
- Establishes key performance indicators that will determine the ultimate success of the partnership
- Provide internal and external thought leadership
