Vice President, Global Partner Marketing

Okta is looking for a strategic partner marketing leader who has a track record of building and scaling SaaS & Cloud global partner marketing capabilities from the ground up. At Okta, our partners are a significant growth lever for the company and are critical to the success of our customers. You are a strong leader who will take the marketing strategy of all of our partner-based routes to market to the next level, including CSPs, GSIs, MSPs, Solution Providers, Resellers and Global Distribution Partners.

What you’ll be doing:

● Design and deliver a global partner marketing plan, execution approach and metrics for joint marketing campaigns including events and campaigns to, through and with partners ● Spans both channel and technology alliances ● Align partner marketing strategy to overall marketing strategy ● Create and maintain strong relationships with marketing leaders of our most critical partners ● Manage MDF budget and spend and report on program ROI ● Work with product marketing counterparts to establish partner value propositions, messaging and benefits ● Build the partner demand generation function to accelerate partner-led opportunity creation and work closely with marketing operations to build and track ROI ● Collaborate with Strategic Events to organize and deliver partner events including Partner Summits, Conferences and Advisory Councils ● Align with Global Partner Sales, Field Sales and Field Marketing to ensure partners are deeply interwoven with our GTM plans, sales plays and campaign execution ● Define, develop and deliver our partner marketing business processes and tools including performance measurement, MDF management and partner portals ● Mentor and grow a team of top partner marketing talent ● Collaborate with internal teams including corporate marketing, strategic events, communications, regional alliances and product marketing

What you’ll bring to the role:

● 15+ years experience in B2B software marketing; 5+ leading global partner marketing teams ● Knowledge and familiarity with the full spectrum of ecosystem partners, including SIs, Alliance, Platform, CSPs, VARs, Distribution and MSPs ● Deep understanding of Cloud/SaaS go-to-market strategies and business models ● Depth of experience across marketing to, through, and with partners ● Core marketing fundamentals including demand generation, account-based marketing and journey creation ● A passion for data-driven marketing and deep experience in tracking and measuring the results of co-marketing campaigns ● Thrives in ambiguity and is accustomed to building from the ground up ● 30% travel required

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$230,000$340,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $256,000$380,000 USD
