Based in Sydney, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join us as a Senior Pricing & Business Performance Analyst. Reporting into the Director Commercial Excellence you will be responsible for conducting complex and detailed pricing analysis on product management and channel & customer performance, developing pricing strategies, and providing strategic recommendations to support our business growth and expansion plans.
As a Senior Pricing & Business Performance Analyst you will be also responsible for conducting annual market reviews such as annual market share and annual marketing and sales plan, and monitoring competitor and cost movements as inputs for pricing insights. You will work closely with senior leaders across the organization to develop and implement strategic initiatives, with a focus on pricing analysis, sales and marketing planning, and supporting the Strategy Director on specific projects.
Your main responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Conduct complex and detailed pricing analysis on product management and channel & customer performance
- Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to inform pricing decisions and track performance
- Monitor pricing trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks, and recommend pricing adjustments
- Analyse business performance and identify areas for improvement in revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Consolidate and triangulate all business ambitions by Go to Market, preparation of summary and insights for key stakeholders
About you:
You are a highly driven and self-motivated individual who loves to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment. You have an astute business acumen and are a critical thinker.
In addition, you possess the following relevant skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred
- Demonstrated experience of 8+ years in pricing analysis engaging senior-level of company
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data sets
- Proven experience in developing and executing pricing strategies and initiatives
- Experience in financial modelling and analysis, with the ability to develop business cases and financial projections
- Experience with pricing software and tools, and proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools
