Job Introduction
We are seeking a Service Delivery Shunter Level 1 to join us. The main purpose of the role is to provide correctly marshalled trains at the time laid down and ensure this work is performed safely and to provide a quality and cost efficient service.

Role Responsibility
- You will be required to undertake safety critical work.
- Requires someone who has competence in personal track safety.
- This job has specific safety responsibilities of those related to Ground Shunting
- Ensure Passenger Stock is formed correctly as shown in Carriage Working notice and supplements.
- Responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge of Rules and Regulations that apply to work.
- Ensure that all tasks are performed in accordance with the depot operating instruction for movements and depot protection.

To be considered for the role we recommend that you demonstrate the below in your application;
- Ensure your personal safety and that of others at all times.
- Flexible to work requirements and work varying shifts.
- Ability to use own initiative
- Able to pass a Personal Track Safety course.
- Able to pass Ground Shunting Course and maintain competency
- Physically fit and able to pass a medical to PTS standard.
- Basic IT Skills such as Word and Excel.
- Good personal organisational skills.
