Due to recent growth, we are seeking an additional Drainage Engineer to join our transport engineering team in Sydney. This position presents the opportunity to work alongside some of industries best on our highly sought-after projects. These projects vary, offering you great opportunity whilst working with some of Australia’s largest and passionate group of Transport professionals.
Examples of current projects include:
- \tSouth Australia Water – Flooding Risk analysis and impact in Goolwa, South Australia
- \tTransport for NSW – Camrbidge Avenue upgrade – Flooding impact assessment and drainage design
- \tSydney Water – Flood risk assessment for infrastructure upgrade at Austral, Leppington
- \tGunnedah Solar Farm – Flood risk assessment and impact of new Solar Farm at Gunnedah
About the role:
As a Drainage Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of responsibilities such as drainage investigation, design and flood modelling associated with transport, water, energy, and land development infrastructure.
The successful candidate will present the below:
- \tBachelor's Degree in Engineering with an emphasis in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- \tRelative transport industry experience with strong knowledge of drainage investigation, analysis and design.
- \tFlood modelling and flood report preparation skills.
- \tSound knowledge of hydraulic modelling utilising computer-based modelling programs such as 12d, Tuflow, Drains, Hec-Ras, Infoworks and Music.
- \tStrong capability to manage workload and successfully deliver projects.
