Join Ventia’s Telecommunications Fixed Networks Team in Brisbane as a Practical Completion Officer. This is a full-time permanent position offering hybrid working conditions after an initial period.

About the role
In this role you will verify subcontractor payment claims, review As-Built returned details from Construction Teams, process subcontractor payments and submit client invoicing including request for any outstanding project details to ensure the successful Wideband Panel order completion. You will also be required to update both Ventia and Client databases. Tasks include:
- Planning upcoming work orders Practical Completion Dates in conjunction with receipt of Completions documentation
- Accurately compiling and submitting completions documents and invoices
- Review claims for payment
- Escalating outstanding As-Built documentation
- Updating all project tasks within Ventia and Client database before due dates
- Building and nurturing professional relationships
You will liaise with field staff, subcontractors and project staff.
About you
To be success you are required to have a basic understanding of telecommunication networks and the ability to read and understand construction plans. You must be familiar with schedule of rates and processing subcontractor claims / payments and completion documents. It goes without saying that you will be focused, have high attention to detail, be a strong team player with a can-do attitude and have sound communication, time management and problems solving skills.
Experience with TCSS and Telstra network understanding is highly desirable.
