Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Capacity, Supply Chain & Provisioning (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.
As a part of the Spare Parts and Warranty Team, we are chartered with having the Right Part, at the Right Place, at the Right Time to keep our Cloud healthy.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the General Manager Spares & Warranty to enable measurable results aligned with the broader Spares & Warranty organizational strategy
- Grow and develop a high-performing team
- Drive spare parts supply chain business operations performance & continuous improvement
- Create cross-organizational focus on performance measures tied to customer experience, quality, and efficiency
- Contribute to a monthly executive-level, cross-organization review cadence (‘rhythm of the business’) for service & repair metrics
- Partner with software development teams to deliver the necessary automation to measure & achieve the key results
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or equivalent years of experience
- 8+ years of supply chain, service & repair operations, reverse logistics, and/or high-tech hardware manufacturing experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to recruit, lead, motivate and develop a diverse results-oriented team
Additional Qualifications
- Spare Parts, Reverse Logistics, Reverse Supply Chain experience.
- Deep background on enabling data-driven insights and actions with high-impact analytics
- Proficient influence skills and ability to build partnerships, across multiple levels, with internal organizations and external partners
- Lead with customer focus and empathy along with an extraordinary passion for creating impact
- Cloud Infrastructure/Hyperscale high-tech supply chain experience a plus
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
