Xbox Marketing Business Planning is looking for a talented individual to help scale Xbox All Access and help us drive growth into new endpoints. This individual will be responsible for driving a deep understanding of XAA economics as well as defining the XAA investment framework to account for business and operating model evolution to further scale Xbox All Access on a global basis. You will work closely with our Product Marketing and Product Management teams as well as Engineering, Finance, and Category Management to align and execute plans. You will also lead our planning process for expansion into new markets and new endpoints. This is a senior role that will require you to operate in an independent manner.
Responsibilities
- Own economics modeling of Xbox All Access and correlated growth initiatives, including pricing, volume, engagement, and monetization
- Own long-rage forecasting and modeling support to Xbox platform growth initiatives, at worldwide level
- Develop and deliver compelling stories to promote buy-in on platform growth initiatives
- Develop offer plans to drive Xbox All Access unit sales and mix, in partnership with Product Marketing and Xbox Category Management
- Develop, track, and report on key business performance metrics, in partnership with Finance and Xbox Category Management
- Proactively identify and evaluate opportunities for improvement of Xbox All Access business performance
- Drive thought leadership around competition and industry trends and implications for Xbox devices
- Analytic support for Retail Premium Partner Model
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of product management, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development OR equivalent experience
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years product management, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development, or related experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science, Economics, Business, or related field
- OR 6+ years product management, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development, or related experience AND Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), or related field
- OR equivalent experience
- Comfort with data and analytics, including driving key insights to inform planning and execution
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills used to tell complex data driven stories in a simple and elegant manner
- Able to frame and explain a problem or opportunity and apply structured problem solving to develop recommendations that move the business forward
- Comfort working in an unstructured environment that requires solving complex, open-ended issues, sometimes with incomplete data
- Strategic thinker who will bring customer focus and rigorous disciplined frameworks to solving problems, with an ability to question the status quo
- Experience leading, collaborating, and driving decision making with diverse teams of peers (Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Legal)
- Excellent cross-functional project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to partner with engineering on future roadmap
- Detail-oriented, and demonstrates excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to influence at the GM and Corporate Vice President (CVP) level
- Comfortable in fast-paced environment, and able to manage ambiguity
- Proactive and results-oriented team player
