Job Summary
Oversees the video production of the Aflac Studio (Aflac’s internal agency); Identifies specific business needs and objectives for client groups and implements solutions that aid in the achievement of KPIs; acts as senior point of contact to coordinate resources needed to service projects, build strategic operational plans, and balance client expectations; oversees the planning and execution of production needs for the organization including events and video to support strategic initiatives.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Produces and edits a wide range of high-quality original content on-air commercial spots, episodic/module content, sizzle reels, trailers, behind the scenes, marketing presentations/video content, interviews, tutorials, executive communications and more.
- Reports to and works with the Creative Studio Director on day-to-day operations of the video department.
- Manages and oversees video pre-production planning with production leads, producers, graphic artists and editors, to develop creative production approaches to assigned studio recordings and projects, and on-site production activities for the in-house Studio.
- Manages all internal projects including critical branding and marketing projects; participates in the development of new project proposals and time/cost estimates.
- Attracts and retains top talent, hiring and managing videographers, video editors, audio engineers, motion graphic artists, production crews and all their support staff.

- Responsible for the development of a “social content studio” including an editorial department and writing staff to create intuitive content (articles, listicles, blogs, infographics, etc.) for use by the sales force and marketing department to drive digital engagement of potential customers.
Education & Experience Required
- Minimum Required Bachelor's Degree In film, media, management, production, or a related field.
- Minimum Required Three to five years of management experience. Marketing and advertising experience to include agency experience. Experience working across various business units to include B2B, product and recruiting
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Broad industry knowledge relative to markets, products, and competition
- Broad knowledge in filming and editing practices for both broadcast and web
- Extensive knowledge of operating principles and methodology applicable to marketing and sales
- Understanding of business drivers and their relationship to Aflac products and services
- Knowledge of budgeting and expense control to plan, implement, and maximize the expenditure of funds while maintaining and improving quality standards
- Strong track record of developing and maintaining client relationships
- Strong coaching and leadership skills
- Strong skills in Apple and Adobe products such as Premier, Aftereffects, and Photoshop
