We are looking for a Capability Innovation Program Manager to be a thought leader in how technology can be used to drive SMC success. Responsibilities
Understand and track the health and adoption of these capabilities:
- Develop and land strategic initiatives to support Small, Medium and Corporate (SMC) sales and tools operations
- Be confident in presenting and articulating the business value of tools and capabilities to managers and executives of all levels. Communicate implementation milestones and provide a high level of visibility on all active implementations.
- Manages negotiation and conflicts related to overall solutions design with a high-level of professionalism.
- Drive technology discussions and prioritization with IT, Product Group, Partner Center Engineering, Quote Center Engineering and Operations.
- Leverage cutting-edge technology to drive productivity improvements and automation. Drive use of automation tools and technologies within the entire implementation process (e.g., including program landscape research analysis, project plan, timelines, milestones, performance metrics, and/or resource needs for complex programs)
- Collaborate with project teams to propose innovative technology solutions and drive the design execution from concept to completion.
- Ensure SMC business requirements are captured and prioritized by various engineering teams.
- Translate business and technical requirements into offering enhancement or new offering development initiatives including business case creation, offering definition, materials development, etc. based on available investment, resources, capacity, and timelines.
- Work with local/regional sales leadership to understand business objectives and how capabilities will support the objectives.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field
- OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to connect the dots organizationally, network effortlessly and influence various roles, levels and profiles to drive collaboration , strategy and program excellence.
- Skilled in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technology sales/marketing management, systems infrastructure.
- BS/BA required; MBA preferred.
- Deep understanding of sales process and marketing/sales hand-offs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities across worldwide based talent in multiple time zones.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills. Ability to interface at all management levels and influence strategy decisions, as well as mobilize and influence diverse functions and partners.
- Flexibility to handle directional changes with the ability to juggle moving priorities to ensure project success.
- Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing, and sometimes unpredictable work environment.
- Proven ability to assess business needs, prioritize accordingly and escalate appropriately.
- Analytical thinker with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate to evolving business needs.
- Familiarity with modern sales techniques and digital selling tools preferred. Experience with CRM is a plus.
