We're hiring an SAP BASIS Program Manager to drive internal SAP infrastructure projects.
We are looking for an experienced SAP technical infrastructure program manager, who will drive SAP BASIS programs, and shape the future of internal Microsoft SAP infrastructure. To drive your vision, you work group of experienced Program Manager and Engineering Managers and partner with cross-SAP disciplinary teams to conceive of and design innovative projects. In this role, you will define and drive standard and custom infrastructure deployment programs, requiring the design, build, testing and deployment of existing and new technologies.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate BASIS meetings with partner teams and business process owners to define/develop project scopes and timelines
- Drive process improvements from conception to delivery.
- Develop/present proposals to business stakeholders.
- Document key decisions made and develop/maintain process documentation.
- Works closely with the organization's functional leaders and ERP implementation teams to help find solutions to the organization's toughest issues and provides internal consulting support for evaluation and implementation across the organization.
- Identify and leverage executives, IT support, business leaders, and global subject matter experts needed to drive the development, design and adoption of new technologies and practices.
- Leads critical initiatives requiring analytical and decision support to frame key issues, develop hypotheses, assess risks, conduct analyses, and identify potential solutions prior to mobilizing commitment and designing broader implementation and engagement plans.
- Be the voice of the customer and advocate for the best user experience solutions.
- Identify and report roadblocks and variances to project plan, ensure projects are on schedule and achieve stated objectives. Coordinate with team members to identify and document resource constraints.
- Take ownership in all project issues and problem resolution while leading teams to fact-based decision making.
- Work with business partners to clearly articulate outcomes and objectives for BASIS.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years’ experience in an engineering related position including, but not limited to, program management, solution management, product management, consultant.
- 5+ years’ experience in SAP BASIS, SAP Release Management or related SAP infrastructure projects.
Preferred, not required:
- Technical knowledge in: SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, and SAP BW/4 HANA.
- Industry knowledge data governance and relevant standards.
- Demonstrated engineering PM skills and a track record of project execution.
- Experience in working with customers and managing priorities and deadlines across multiple teams.
- Ability to identify and implement best Program Management practices for the team and organization at large.
- Solid knowledge of IT networking, database, and operational systems.
- Facilitation and conflict resolution skills to assist in resolving the different points of view and requirements that invariably collide during cross-team and cross-organization efforts.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to adapt to differing audiences (from clerical positions to the senior management team)
- Ability to influence cross-functional peers and subordinates to modify behaviors and provide support for the adoption of data governance policies.
- Deep and comprehensive understanding of the importance and impact of data (or bad data) on the ability of the business to meet its own objectives.
- Hands-on, results-oriented and pragmatic.
- Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills, including proficiency in statistical analysis.
- Team player who can also work independently and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

- The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $126,000 and $190,400
- At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
