We are looking for a strong Finance manager to join the 3rd Party Games Finance team, leading the FP&A function for our billions dollar Digital Store Royalties and Retail game sales. You will be part of the team executing strategic decisions as we continue to grow in the Console market while expanding off-console to PC, xCloud streaming, etc. You will partner with the Engineering, Marketing and Operations teams, and have exposure to Revenue and COGS.
Responsibilities
Prioritize
- Determine financial results and conduct variance analyses, provide business insights for Royalties for 3rd Party Games in the Xbox Digital Store, as well as 3rd Party Games physical discs & Code-to-Content products in Retail Stores.
- Develop and maintain forecast and LRP model for the above business, through identifying seasonal trends, key variables, industry news, inputs from business partners, etc.
- Use a wide variety of systems and tools to consolidate and analyze results, including data mining and business intelligence.
Partnership
- Understand key drivers of revenue trend in the digital store, build strong partnership with the revenue stakeholders to ensure accurate reflection in the royalties model.
- Collaborate with gaming partner teams to learn industry trends, games development news and evaluate impact on the P&L.
- Drive improvements in data management through automation. Simplify models and reports to and from business partners to deliver accurate & efficient results.
Protect
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring accuracy of financial documents and business processes; driving corrective measures. Consult with business partners on sharing information, approved instruments and processes, and consistency with corporate policies. Collaborate with Compliance groups to ensure team is current on company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the business operations team on Business Contingency Plans.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 2+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
- OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field
- OR equivalent experience.
