The mission of the AI Co-innovation Engineering (ACE) team within the Azure Data team is to accelerate the infusion of AI/ML in real world solutions and extending the signals from real world patterns to building robust, scalable services and products. To achieve this, we are co-innovating AI and ML powered solutions (rich APIs, ML models and end to end services) with our strategic ISVs and Enterprise customers, leverage many other Azure technologies, including Azure Data Analytics (Synapse, ADF, SQL and Azure Databricks) and Python/C# microservices, Azure Functions and AKS.
Job Purpose:
We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative individual who is passionate about cloud computing, data engineering and operationalizing AI/ML, who has experience in implementing end-to-end solutions including architecture design. To be successful in this role, you must be capable of scoping and envisioning of AI/ML solutions based on complex user requirement, with technical mindset and vision in Data, AI and ML to drive customer focused architecture and implementation meets customer needs and improving our product and services.

- Understanding customer/partner technical environment, gathers customer/partner insights from a broad range of stakeholders as well as the main business sponsor to shape and form both the definition and ongoing execution of projects.
- Drive customer focused architecture design, implementation and deployment, and develop new features if necessary
- Deep understanding of the product and develop end-user experiences and scenarios for customers to drive Azure AI/ML adoptions and engagements.
- Work with and collaborate with other Microsoft product teams and engineers to drive customer-focused design and to build great enterprise products.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics or Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or Machine Learning or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a practitioner solution architect role focusing on MLOps, with demonstratable successes.
- 2+ years of experience with Machine Learning techniques & tools, including SDKs, APIs, and/or services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience building and delivering full stack cloud, MLOps focused architecture
- Successful track record of working with customers and design/implementing the right AI solution architecture for customers.
- Customer advocate with high agency and extreme ownership mindsets.
- Ability to dig deep into technical challenges.
- Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills.
- Capable of quick prototyping and rapid iteration to ‘fail fast’ while solving problems.
