About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
The purpose of this role is to provide analytical insight to help improve the performance of WDL. The medium term focus is to support the business with the day to day business reporting and execution of strategic initiatives within the WDL business

Provide accurate and timely reporting on the performance of the initiatives.

Provide independent business information and analytics that help support business decisions.

Liaise with the Countdown IT specialists, to assist with wider business project designs and specifications, representing the technical needs of the WDL business.

Assist with any claims regarding supplier or store queries.
About You | Mōu
Joining our WDL team, you’ll take accountability for ensuring transactions and processes support the overall planning and provision of accounting activities within Woolworths NZ. Partnering with our wider WDL team, you’ll provide the financial support and insights that will help support the Franchise business and contribute to a customer focused culture.
To succeed in this role you will ideally have hands on experience to:

Provide analytical support to the WDL team that will assist to make sound commercial decisions.

Support the WDL team with data analysis solutions that provide the information required.

Support the business with data related projects post SAP implementation.

Prepare and maintain robust models that assist the planning, forecasting and implementation of business initiatives

Be able to explain the financial impact of business decisions to the WDL team. Involvement and collective ownership for systems testing

Provide development support for our company wide Intranet.
