Reporting to and supporting the Head of Group FP&A, this role is primarily responsible for understanding the shared costs in the business and partnering with the corporate functional leaders from a finance perspective.
The candidate should be a qualified accountant and have more than 5 years of experience. First time movers from the Big 4 or second tier firms are welcome if the candidate can demonstrate a strong appreciation of the commercial nature of an in-house role.
Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with:
Support operational management develop and implement strategy to achieve global business and financial goals
Support the corporate functional leadership with understanding their budget, quarterly forecasts and actual cost along with variance analysis
Be involved allocation methodology for group shared costs
Develop reporting to increase automation and provide greater insight into business performance, resource allocation and profit opportunities
Deliver ad hoc projects to assist decision making including business case development, project and/or cost analysis, process improvement and provision of commercial decision support
What you will bring:
Qualified Accountant (CA or CPA) with at least 5 years’ experience;
Experience in using Netsuite and Adaptive will be highly valued;
Knowledge of both Microsoft Office and Google suite;
Experience in building and maintaining complex financial models;
Willingness to embrace and share new ideas and work collaboratively and effectively in a small team;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Ability to collaborate with Finance business partners to deliver world class reporting and analysis;
Strong organisational skills, ability to manage own time and work independently when required
