About The Position
Reporting to the Corporate Settlements Manager you will be responsible to provide financial, administrative, and clerical services to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations for the company.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Accounts receivable processing for the organisation, as required, in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Undertake accounts receivable functions, such as submitting customer accounts to paid in a timely manner for dispatch of metal.
- Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced accounts receivable professional who can adapt to a busy work environment and has a solid understanding of accounting principles and administrative procedures. You will need strong attention to detail, sound numeracy and data entry skills for calculating, posting and managing accounting figures and financial records as well as good computer literacy with strong proficiency in MS Office, operating spreadsheets and accounting software.
