The purpose of the BSC Payroll Systems Support Lead position is to maintain, support and deliver high quality, robust, and effective changes within our payroll systems and to our business stakeholders.
This role will lead a small team of Payroll Systems Analysts to analyze, evaluate, develop, implement and support the payroll systems and our operations team.
THE ROLE
- Proactively work with the EBA Build, Test and Payroll reporting teams to plan and prioritise workload.
- Lead a team of payroll analysts to deliver EA system configuration changes for planned activities such as Holiday Calendar updates, EA Rate increases and any other associated activities. Co-ordinate and deliver configuration changes to the Payroll Operations teams.
- Collaboratively and proactively engage with IT configuration vendors to plan workload and improve efficiency.
- Report progress to stakeholders and escalate early if required.
- Liaise with business stakeholders to understand and analyse requirements.
- Train and coach staff in configuration and delivery processes.
- Manage the team and relevant development through regular one on one’s, coaching and performance management
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Payroll systems and Payroll process knowledge and experience essential
- Experience with Oracle Legacy/Express HR, Kronos, SAP, Quintiq, Spinifex or similar large ERP Payroll systems is favourable. SAP preferred.
- Advanced MS Excel (Essential)
- Basic MS Work
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 5 years payroll administration experience
- 2+ years of end to end payroll experience working with a large payroll department
- Payroll User Acceptance Testing experience
