A great working culture
At TasWater, our culture is built on care, collaboration and inclusion. We aspire to create an environment where people feel supported, respected and empowered to bring their full, authentic selves to work. We are committed to creating a workplace where flexibility, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion are genuinely valued. We invest in inclusive leadership and foster a culture of belonging that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.
We believe great work deserves recognition. Through our Making Waves recognition program, employees can nominate colleagues who demonstrate our values and make a positive impact. We also celebrate service milestones and recognise the contributions of individuals and teams who go above and beyond for our customers, communities and each other.

Flexibility
We know that flexibility means different things to different people. That's why we encourage our people to find ways of working that support both their personal and professional commitments. This could look like hybrid work arrangements, flexible start and finish times, part-time hours, RDO arrangements or purchased leave.
We're proud of our family-friendly benefits. Employees have access to 18 weeks of paid parental leave regardless of gender or whether they are the primary or secondary carer. We also provide 38 hours of paid pre-parental leave to support appointments related to pregnancy, IVF, surrogacy and adoption.
Through our Enterprise Agreement, employees also benefit from annual pay and performance reviews, providing regular opportunities for growth, development and recognition.

The health, safety and wellbeing of our people is at the heart of everything we do. Our wellbeing benefits include, free annual flu vaccinations, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offering free, confidential counselling for employees and their immediate family members, discounted private health insurance through our corporate partners, including St Luke's, BUPA and Medibank, and a strong commitment to creating a safe, healthy and supportive workplace.
