The Pega Market Development Director is responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with both Pega executives and ACCENTURE leadership to identify, build and execute new go-to-market (GTM) strategies and sales origination opportunities. The role will focus on growing the sales and pipeline of Accenture’s Pega business through demand generation, origination and joint selling opportunities with Pega, and enablement of Accenture’s strategy to the field and account teams.
- Originate opportunities, leveraging GTM campaigns
- Manage a joint pipeline of opportunities and track success on a weekly basis
- Define and drive activities to generate demand, increase awareness, and educate internal and external stakeholders – all with the objective of increasing pipeline and origination of new leads for Pega
- Create advocacy and preference for Accenture in Pega with executives and customer teams and create advocacy and preference for Pega in Accenture with industry client teams and Accenture leads.
This individual will be expected to work across all industry groups (CMT, FS, H&PS, Products, and Resources) and all Pega products. They will also be expected to collaborate closely with MU leadership and global leadership, as needed.
Key characteristics include the ability to work cross-functionally and drive executive engagement. Self-starting individuals with the ability to form strong relationships will succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Origination: Drive sales origination activities, including the execution of joint account planning sessions between Accenture and Pega to identify new opportunity areas. Execute on these opportunities alongside Sales Origination and Sales Capture teams.
- Pipeline Management Tracking & Reporting – Maintain ownership of the book of business between Accenture and Pega. Integrate this into timely and accurate regional reporting for Accenture leaders.
- Relationship Management: Develop Pega and Accenture executive and field level relationships to align teams and grow market share of Accenture-Pega collaborative business, as well as to bring Accenture’s Pega strategy effectively to the field
- Demand Generation: Facilitate and execute Demand Generation activities – internal and joint enablement sessions, briefings and events to develop pre-stage 0 pipeline
- Education & Evangelism: Master Accenture’s Pega growth strategy. Align this strategy with regional business opportunities and evangelize key messages to the field. Educate both Accenture and Pega on new go-to-market (GTM) offerings, assets, and differentiators to increase win rates and grow sales.
- Client Alignment & Field Engagement: Work across Accenture DTE’s and the Pega’s organization to connect the right SME’s with the right opportunities, developing stronger strategies and the ability to execute successful sales cycles.
- Offering Development: Provide support for development of go-to-market offerings that help drive client value and differentiate Accenture. Help shape, message, and align offerings with go-to-market activities in the field.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Professional experience in sales execution, sales enablement, alliance management, offering & program development or Pega client & market delivery
- Strong understanding of Pega software and solutions and Accenture-Pega offerings
- Understanding of current enterprise software market trends – including cloud strategies, digital technologies, and emerging technologies
- Experience in go-to-market strategy and sales execution
- Experience working with partners and cross-functional teams to develop business opportunities
- Entrepreneurial mind set, self-starter style and ability to drive outcomes
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment – willingness to work virtually and ability to travel (up to 50%), depending on sales cycles and regional needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working alongside Pega with focused experience in partner strategy and sales
