AlphaBeta Australia, now part of Accenture Strategy, is a leading strategy consultancy with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.
We specialise in combining strategy consulting, data science and economics expertise to solve issues that matter for society, such as the future of work, social services, economic recovery and climate change. Our projects help reshape industries, government policies and public thinking, and we’re seeking more talented and driven leaders with significant public sector consulting or industry experience to help us grow.

The role
AlphaBeta Managers are adept problem-solvers. They are the day-to-day lead on projects. They form strong working relationships with clients, coach teams, guide and review analysis and problem-solving on the project, and manage project delivery.
As members of our leadership team, Managers are also expected to mentor consultants, role model our values and reinforce positive behaviour within the firm. This role would be ideal for candidates who want to engage and add value within the most interesting challenges facing the private and public sectors.

What we are looking for
- Strong track record of managing teams to deliver research and analysis
- Prior experience in management consulting preferred
- Strong skills in data analysis and interpretation, data science, statistics and / or economics
- A flair and passion for problem solving and interest in public policy, economics and social impact problems
- Excellent project management and delivery skills
- Strong business and policy acumen
- Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Previous experience in leading, coaching and developing teams
- Experience in client or stakeholder management (public and/ or private sector)
Complimenting your experience, you will ideally hold a bachelor’s degree. Post-graduate qualifications in a related discipline (e.g., Master’s / PhD / MPA / MBA) would be highly regarded, although not essential.
