Analyze over 125 billion log entries
Identify over 62,000 potential security events
Escalate over 11,000 validated security incidents
Work as part of a world class customer focused team, protecting customers from threats through analysis of log data, providing clear, detailed, and timely alerts that can be acted on. The Security Analysis team delivers real time security monitoring, alerting, and analyzing logs from over 150 supported device types, while adhering to strict service-level agreements. We are the front line in protecting our customers.
Responsibilities
Manage proprietary Accenture Log Collection Platform(LCP) servers based on Linux OS
Troubleshoot log collection issues and work with/escalate to the customers
Monitor and analyze log collection on LCP servers, network traffic and/or alerts generated by a variety of security technologies
Work with other Accenture team to validate log quality to ensure effective log analysis
Work with customers to onboard log collection for a variety of security technologies
Ensure standards and procedures are adhered to within defined SLA’s
Identify opportunities for process improvement
Manage and track customer issues and requests
Support other teams as needed
Support SOC Tours as required
Qualifications
Skills Required
- An analytical mind with logical thinking
- An ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Good time management skills
- An ability to follow processes
- Strong documentation skills
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- Passion for cyber security, learning, and knowledge sharing
- Understanding of computer networking, including a detailed understanding of TCP/IP and other core Internet protocols
- Sound technical and troubleshooting skills with Linux operating system
- Certifications on network and/or Linux highly valued
