About the Project:
Acciona Construction Australia has partnered with Georgiou Group to deliver the first stage of the Gold Coast's largest road infrastructure project. The project will involve construction of six new bridge structures in an environment with unique geotechnical conditions and challenging interfacing on a gazetted green-field site.

About the Role
ACCIONA are now looking for a Site Engineer with experience in Civil Construction including PUP (Public Utility Plant). Reporting to the Project Engineer & Senior Project Engineer, the Site Engineer is responsible for coordination and control of engineering works through activities of technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement and quality control.
Duties:
- Provide support on planning the use of materials, resources, components
- Assist with development of construction planning documents
- Monitor and maintain the progress of work
- Advise of significant changes and proposed remedial action
- Record non-conformances and initiate corrective actions
- Participate in client/contractor meetings where required
- Provide input to cost recoveries and subcontractor variation claims
- Ensure works are compliant with site community restrictions and commitments
Skills we are looking for:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering
- 2-3 years experience in a construction or engineering environment
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation/standards
