About the Opportunity
Due to continued strong growth and the award of several new projects supporting critical infrastructure across NSW's transition to renewable energy, we are looking for Senior HR Advisor to join our NSW team.
As the Senior HR Advisor, you will report directly to the HR Manager and provide generalist people management support across blue and white-collar employees. Your role will be to facilitate and support all HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and learning and development strategies to create and maintain an engaged workforce.
Key accountabilities for the position:
- Partner and support Project Directors and Managers for Corporate and key infrastructure projects
- Interpret and provide advice on EBA's and company policies, processes and benefits
- Maintain employee records and transfers through Workday
- Assist with visa applications, supporting our immigration team
- Mentor and guide junior staff members
- Partner with Regional HR Manager on a variety of HR projects
Capability & Experience you will need to have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and various employment laws and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to maintain effective communication with all levels of the organisation
- Highly organised with exceptional time management and planning abilities
- The ability to influence, negotiate and motivate others
