The Opportunity
Due to our Acciona, MACA, AECOM (AMA) Alliance being selected as the preferred proponent on the Ring Road Completion Project we are seeking to appoint a Document Controller working out of the Collingwood project office initially but moving to site offices if required.

The Project
This package of works covers the design and construction of the North East Link between the M80 - Plenty Rd interchange, and the north tunnel entrance at Watsonia. Works include three kilometres of new freeway, two kilometres of freeway upgrades, construction of retaining walls and bridge structures, rail interface works, intelligent transport systems, and urban design and landscaping. This diverse and challenging project will be complete in 2028.

Key accountabilities for the position

  • Ensure compliance with Document Control and Documentation Management Plan.
  • Ensure accurate uploading and distribution of project related documents, records, and correspondence.
  • Auditing, monitoring and 'self checking' of project document control and records management activities.
  • Contribute to the development of control checks and document control procedures, ensure they are followed and report any issues.
  • Ensure that TeamBinder and iTWOcx are being used as the primary system for communication and document management.
  • Ensure all new revisions of drawings and documents replicated in and appropriately distributed in TeamBinder and iTWOcx.
  • Awareness, promotion and monitoring of document workflows, including peripheral processes such as package reviews in TeamBinder and iTWOcx.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Highly developed communication skills and able to build collaborative and effective relationships across the project teams
  • A high level of attention to detail and able to prioritise workload
  • Systems experience with Teambinder, ITWOcX or similar highly regarded
  • Ability to implement and maintain the project document control and records management system, ensuring all personnel possess a sound knowledge of the plans, processes and procedures.
