The Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an AutoCAD Technician to come and join the team in Perth and work across projects in WA.
In this key role you will play a crucial role in modifying and producing accurate and detailed structural and civil design documentation mainly using REVIT software and AutoCAD.
Key responsibilities:
- Review, modify and produce structural and civil graphical documentation, including layout plans and details, for structural steel, precast concrete, reinforced concrete and in-situ concrete slabs, road alignment, pavements, details etc.
- Prepare drawings for structural and infrastructure projects using Revit software and AutoCAD.
- Issue drawings and documents.
- Assist with library of standard details and Revit families.
- Maintain register of drawings for projects.
About You:
- Ideally you will have proven experience with AutoCAD software. Revit and MicroStation are a plus.
- Knowledge in modelling structural steel, precast concrete, reinforced concrete and in-situ concrete slabs, road alignment, pavements, details etc.
- Knowledge of CAD standards in VicRoads, MTM, DIT, etc.
- Modelling, documentation, and collaboration experience.
- Experience working collaborative platforms such us ProjectWise.
