To reduce our dependence on rainfall and groundwater and support the growing population, Water Corporation has formed the Alkimos SeaWater Alliance, which includes ACCIONA Construction Australia.
The Alliance will design, construct, operate and maintain the Plant which will produce 50 billion litres of drinking water per year, with provision to expand by an additional 50 billion litres per year in the future. Having already constructed 89 desalination plants worldwide, ACCIONA is a pioneer and the global leader in the sustainable desalination sector.
Construction of the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant will commence over the coming months and the project is expected to be completed in 2029. To help us construct the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant we will need some of Perth's top Engineering and Construction professionals to join our team.
One of the first roles we are seeking to recruit is a Survey Manager. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Survey Manager supports the delivery of the project across through ongoing coordination of the surveying operations achieving compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for the planning and execution of all survey works across the project
- Manage and coordinate all (internal and external) survey resources and requirements to meet the project requirements.
- Work closely with the different construction teams to ensure that all works are being delivered on time.
- Correctly interpret specifications and plans forming digital models for set-out.
- Support the development and implementation of positive initiatives
- Active participation in all Alliance Safety initiatives.
- Diploma equivalent in surveying and/or bachelor's degree in surveying
- Considerable experience supporting civil infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience in 12D (Model, Field and Synergy) experience desirable.
- Proven managerial experience of survey crews.
- Able to work in a high performing and professional team
