The opportunity:
Active Tree Services is looking to invest in your career in the Arboriculture industry. Working in a small crew, rotating throughout the day between duties such as chipping vegetation, safety observing, setting up a safe worksite, site clean-up and ground cutting using a chainsaw.

In your first 12 to 24 months, you will gain:
- Truck Licence – Active will assist with obtaining
- Senior First Aid & CPR
- Traffic Control
- Chainsaw operation qualification
- High Risk Elevated Work Platform 11m above License
- Certificate II Powerline Vegetation Control
- Working safely near live electrical apparatus
- On the job training with experienced Arborists
You will learn:
- Woodchipper Inductions, Maintenance & Operations
- Site set up and clean up
- Traffic Control
- How to complete daily inspections and report faults
- Ground base chainsaw cutting
- Elevated Work Platform operation
- Learn Safe Approach distances
- Saw Maintenance
- Truck driving
- Tree trimming from Elevated Work Platform
- Exposure to Climbing crews and specialised machinery
What’s on offer:
- Full time permanent role with job security
- 8-hour shift from 7.00am to 3.30pm

- $26 to $30 an hour + superannuation + daily travel allowance and the opportunity for overtime
