The opportunity:
We are looking for people with a can-do attitude who want to work outdoors, have the willingness to participate and enjoy physical work and are safety conscious to join our South Australian crews. Majority of the work will be around the Adelaide Hills and Murray bridge area with opportunities to travel on Living Away from Home trips.

In your first 12 to 24 months, you will gain:
- Truck Licence – Active will assist with obtaining
- Senior First Aid & CPR
- Work Zone Traffic Management
- Chainsaw operation qualification
- High Risk Elevated Work Platform 11m above License
- Certificate II Powerline Vegetation Control
- Close Approach Vegetation Clearance
- Working safely near live electrical apparatus
- On the job training with experienced Arborists
You will learn:
- Woodchipper Inductions, Maintenance & Operations
- Site set up and clean up
- Traffic Control
- How to complete daily inspections and report faults
- Ground base chainsaw cutting
- Elevated Work Platform operation
- Learn Safe Approach distances
- Saw Maintenance
- Truck driving
- Tree trimming from Elevated Work Platform
- Exposure to Climbing crews and specialised machinery
What’s on offer:
- Full time permanent role with job security
- 8-hour shift from 7.00am to 3.30pm
- $26 to $30 an hour + superannuation + daily travel allowance and the opportunity for overtime
