We are seeking a Full time Consulting Arborist to join our growing team in Victoria.

The Role:

The role of the Consulting Arborist at Active is to promote urban greening and canopy cover, provide tree assessments and reporting, assist in disaster recovery, tree inventory data collection, root mapping and works supervision amongst other things. The Consulting Arborist will manage client relationships in their area of expertise and commensurate with their experience. You will be part of a team that provides valued services such that your clients come back to you time after time. You will have the opportunity to work with ecologists and environmental scientists to enhance our ability to deliver for our clients and the environment.

What you will bring to the role:

• Cert V or above in Arboriculture or equivalent experience with allied qualifications
• Experience in Tree Identification
• Defect identification & remedial works
• Tree and Risk assessment knowledge
• Technical Data and Report Writing Skills
• The ability to work alone and as part of a team
• A mature outlook and strong communication skills
• Ability to travel for short periods at time. Ample notice will be provided
• A current and unrestricted drivers’ licence
