Our Project and Program Management business is growing. We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Project Scheduler to deliver design consultant services and client-side project management services to clients across a multitude of engineering sectors.

As a Project Scheduler with a world leader in engineering and project delivery you will be exposed to a range of regional and remote project locations, enabling full concept-completion responsibility across some fantastic opportunities in major projects.

AECOM’s Project and Program Management team aims to provide clients with full Project Management services from concept to completion and are currently looking for an experienced Project Scheduler to work across the full lifecycle of a project from pre-contract to design, construction, delivery and commissioning

What will a day in this role look like:

  • Manage and be responsible for projects from pre-contract to design, construction, delivery and commissioning across a range of major projects both in cities and in remote locations across ANZ
  • Assist the broader Project and Program Management team to provide AECOM’s clients with full, end-to-end project management services.
  • Contribute to the preparation and presentation of proposals to clients whilst developing and enhancing relationships with clients, AECOM staff and other stakeholders.
  • Apply and use your knowledge of scheduling and planning best practices including knowledge of scope control, change management and earned valued methodology.

What are we looking for from you?

  • Ideally, 5+ client-side project scheduling experience with exposure to scheduling for engineering design projects being highly valued
  • Ability to competently use Primavera P6 (experience with P6 Database administration or understanding of SQL is highly valued), Microsoft Projects and full Microsoft Office suite. Furthermore, experience with PowerBI (valued), and experience with other scheduling software such as Asta PowerProject (valued).
  • Exceptional communication skills to communicate effectively with Clients, subcontractors, AECOM employees whilst assisting with the delivery of projects on time and to budget.
  • Knowledge of scope control, change management and earned valued methodology
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications with experience in civil infrastructure, defence and/or mining (valued)
