Our Building Services Team in Melbourne are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to operate across a diverse range of projects. This will be a technically focused role, where you will be supported and work alongside multidisciplinary engineers and professionals, whilst leading technical projects.
What will a day in this role look like:
- Deliver design services, across the whole project lifecycle in a range of market sectors including; commercial, aviation, healthcare, education and defence.
- Support the team of Drafters and Engineers with internal and external client delivery.
- Assist in work planning and programming for the team whilst performing work in accordance with agreed budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
- Grow your technical skills by stepping up into Project Management duties on certain projects and proactively identity opportunities for improvements across your projects.

What are we looking for from you?
- BEng in Mechanical Engineering of Building Services Engineering with proven knowledge and experience working within a technical design-focussed HVAC or Mechanical Engineering role (exposure to Camel, IES Software and Revit advantageous).
- Proven experience in Building Services Engineering for a consultancy or, have significant design experience as a Mechanical Engineer for a Contractor or State Government Department.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of Australian Building Services Projects and standards with a background in effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders on various projects.
- Experience in the preparation of technical design documentation with willingness to nurture and mentor more junior members of staff.
- Exceptional levels of written and verbal communication with a passion to continually upskill and progress your professional development.
