We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Water Resources professional to join our Melbourne-based Water Resources team.
By joining our team, you will work on the most transformative projects and have access to mentoring and guidance from our industry-leading specialists. You will also be provided with opportunities to collaborate across interstate and international offices as part of the broader Water Resources sector.
How you’ll make a difference
- Be part of a high-performing team delivering hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, drainage design, and integrated water management solutions, with a strong focus on technical excellence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across a range of geographies to deliver integrated outcomes.
- Contribute to an exciting and diverse portfolio of projects across all market sectors, including energy, transport, water, environment and government, across Victoria and beyond.
- Work on a wide range of engaging and challenging projects and, where appropriate, assist with supervision, leadership and mentoring responsibilities to support the development of junior staff.

The qualities that help you thrive
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with RPEV / CPEng (or working towards) highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience with water resource modelling and design tools such as TUFLOW, DRAINS, RORB, 12d, MUSIC, HEC-RAS (1D/2D), GoldSim and Source, along with a strong working knowledge of industry standards and guidelines such as ARR 2019 and AustRoads.
- Strong client focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Highly motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and within teams, and contribute effectively to projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
