With a strong and growing pipeline of aviation projects across ANZ, we’re looking for an Airfield Pavements Engineer to support the delivery of major airport infrastructure programs. This is a great opportunity to build your experience on real airside and landside projects, working alongside experienced engineers on high-profile aviation work across the region.
How you’ll make a difference:
Support the delivery of airfield pavement projects including runways, taxiways and aprons as part of a multidisciplinary team
Apply and develop your understanding of pavement design principles and relevant aviation standards (e.g. ICAO, CASA, FAA)
Assist in the preparation of design reports, specifications and drawings across different stages of project delivery
Review and interpret pavement investigation data (FWD, GPR, LWD etc.) with guidance from senior engineers
Contribute to design tasks, analysis and technical documentation while learning best practice approaches
Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to understand aviation project delivery and operational constraints
Support team collaboration and gradually build your confidence in stakeholder interactions
Continue developing your technical capability through mentoring, on-the-job learning and exposure to a range of aviation projects
The qualities that help you thrive :

1–5 years’ experience in pavement engineering, with exposure to pavement design across transport or aviation projects
Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and contributing to project delivery while building your technical expertise
Demonstrated experience supporting the delivery of projects, including assisting with design tasks, technical documentation and coordination with internal teams and clients
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and contribute positively within project teams
Well-developed interpersonal skills, with clear written and verbal communication and a focus on delivering quality outcomes for clients
