Purpose of the role

We are seeking a driven and creative Marketing Coordinator to join us full-time within our brand-new, purpose-built Head Office in Collingwood.

As our ANZ Marketing Coordinator, you will execute marketing activities across the consumer journey, with a strong focus on PR and brand partnerships. Reporting into our Marketing Manager, this is an integral role responsible for the execution of the marketing strategy across Aesop Australia and New Zealand. 

Maintaining a finger on the pulse of industry partnership activities and potential brand alignments for Aesop, the role requires the ability to scan the cultural and digital landscape for new collaborative opportunities and take a lead role in delivering Aesop marketing projects.

Examples of what your day might look like:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to facilitate PR activities and maintain communication channels for media and content creator relationships, press kits, spokespeople interviews and events.

  • Plan and execute marketing activations and events, liaising with internal/external stakeholders and partners to ensure timely and budget conscious execution.

  • Plan and coordinate key brand activations and cultural partnerships, working closely with the Marketing Manager.

  • Coordinate the production and deployment of marketing collateral across various online and offline platforms, including providing clear briefs for creative assets and collaborating with printers and suppliers.

  • Continuously monitor the success of marketing activities leveraging link tracking and Google Analytics, presenting commercial outcomes and recommendations in reports.

  • Collaborate with the team to boost retail store performance, identifying opportunities to drive customer acquisition and traffic, cultivate relationships with retail partners and shopping centre marketing teams.

  • Implement communication strategies and cross-channel plans for new store openings and relocations.

What we are looking for

Through previous experience in a similar role, you will possess a thorough understanding of public relations and brand marketing, combined with a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to delivering results. Ideally, you will be comfortable in managing internal and external stakeholders, with special focus on upholding the Aesop brand values. You’ll also bring:

  • A proven track record of working in a similar marketing role, ideally in a PR or Retail Marketing environment

  • Degree qualified in Marketing or a similar field

  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task successfully with strong time management and organisational skills

  • Able to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail, creativity, and flair while meeting requirements of the brief and business

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Proactive personality, independent worker, self-starter, frequently initiate and can proactively present ideas, suggestions and problem-solving

  • Strong financial acumen
