Role Purpose

Aesop are seeking a motivated and passionate Product Owner to join our high performing Technology Product team, based in our purpose-built Head Office in Collingwood Melbourne. This role will report directly into our Retail Product Manager, and will be a full-time ongoing opportunity.

This newly created role is accountable for delivering upon multiple initiatives and enhancements to our systems to support our global and regional retail business’s and in-turn Aesop customers all around the world. The role will work to ensure that their product team delivers the required technology features and applications to meet the business & customer expectations.

Working within an Agile product team, you will be responsible for documenting requirements to be development ready, prioritising the backlog and supporting the delivery team and business stakeholders with new features deployed into production.

What we are looking for

  • Solid experience in a technology project/product ownership role, preferably in a retail environment

  • Experience working with the retail specific applications like POS (Cegid) and Payment systems (Adyen/Givex)

  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders

  • Proven experience in managing technology solutions from ideation to implementation

  • Strong delivery skills and ability to manage project delivery, risks and issues

  • Ability to design, document and communicate system and operational processes

  • Experience in working with Jira and Confluence or similar

  • Excellent organisational, time and self-management skills

  • Detail oriented, with excellent follow through skills

  • Strong sense of initiative
