Role Purpose
Aesop are seeking a motivated and passionate Content & Production Manager to join our high performing Global Digital Product team, based in our purpose-built Head Office in Collingwood Melbourne. This role will report directly into our Global Head of Digital Product.
The Global Digital Content and Production Manager has responsibility for Aesop’s digital content serving technical stack (CMS) and owns the global content and production lifecycle, ensuring successful creation and delivery of content to Aesop's digital properties.
You will be responsible for the implementation of the Aesop digital content strategy, content management processes and tools, as well as management of digital content & production team members at both global and regional levels.
What a day might look like in this role:
Deliver the digital content strategy and how this comes to life on Aesop.com and associated digital properties in partnership with key stakeholders (Global Marketing, Digital Product teams, Digital Design Team, and SEO lead).
Tracking and reporting of content delivery related KPIs and oversee performance reporting related to content effectiveness
Line management, professional development and upskilling of the production and content team
Leadership of the multi time zone regional production team, to implement content that champions the customer, the product vision and the brand.
Delivery of the digital content and production program at a global level, including campaigns and Atheneum content publishing (blog)
Manage and oversee content translations process - overseeing agency, cost estimates and quotations, and monitor budgets
Responsible for all production processes used to deliver content, working with business wide stakeholders and/or agencies to ensure the process is continually optimised and scaled to support business requirements
Supports the evolution of the Contentful content platform - by providing input on technical requirements to enhance its capability
Support the product streams with content requirements by ensuring the Global Production Team deliver to requirements on time and to brief.
Actively develop new content processes that supports the decentralised model.
What we are looking for:
Experience working with ecommerce platforms and Content Management Systems
Prior experience with the Contentful CMS platform highly preferred
Experience in working with multi language websites with complex content structures
Experience in designing + implementing interdepartmental processes
Experience in managing people and small teams
Knowledge of ecommerce UX design principles
Working knowledge of SEO and online merchandising principles is beneficial
