ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Digital Operations Lead to lead our AFL Digital operations (digital producers) and live event support teams. Reporting to the Head of Digital Products, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a centre of excellence in live support operations (match day, ad hoc and key events) and digital operations through optimization of onsite user experience (maximise CMS capabilities) across our digital channels for the AFL, AFLW, AFL Clubs and Game Development.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for managing and rostering a team of live support casuals to plan, configure, coordinate live streams across match days, ad hoc and key events with our key partners - to ensure our fans can access, listen, watch, interact and engage with streams on our AFL and AFLW digital channels
- Responsible for managing and leading a team of digital producers across AFL, AFLW and Game Development channels
- Lead stakeholder engagement, influence and drive adoption and buy-in to deliver a fan first led and exceptional user experience across all our digital platforms for all key events (including Season Readiness, Brownlow, Best and Fairest, Finals, Trade and Draft periods and Game Development campaigns and registrations)
- Responsible for the CMS - own the relationship with our technology partner and internal teams - Maximise its current capabilities and identify areas for improvement and development to deliver and empower your producers, our content and editorial teams to provide the best fan experience across our digital platforms
- Communicate and provide a multi-track roadmap of ad hoc and seasonal key events, minor and major enhancements to improve the user experience and drive commercial revenue opportunities
- Identify areas for improvement and work with Product & CX teams and technology partners to brief development requests to deliver an exceptional fan experience
- Measure and communicate key success metrics and outcomes of key events to relevant stakeholder groups and identify areas for improvement for next campaign / occurrence
- Support and coach a team of two digital producers to unleash their full potential
- Run regular sprints to triage, manage and deliver all tasks to a very broad and event / time driven stakeholder group
