A Snapshot
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated BMS Service Engineer to join our Critical Environments team. Reporting to the BMS Regional Manager, you’ll help maintain and enhance AirTrunk’s distributed control systems across multiple APJ sites, ensuring reliability, performance, and continual improvement across our hyperscale data centres.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and optimise the Distributed Control System (DCS) or Building Management System(BMS) and Central Monitoring System (CMS), including backups, cybersecurity compliance, and firmware/software updates.
- Analyse large datasets to deliver insights, identify risks, and implement system optimisation and energy‑efficiency initiatives.
- Respond to controls‑related incidents, conduct investigations and root‑cause analysis, and provide L1–L3 technical support across sites.
- Troubleshoot Niagara performance issues and maintain automation protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and DNP3.
- Collaborate with site teams during maintenance activities, building strong relationships and ensuring operational confidence.
- Lead and support improvement projects focused on system performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
What You Bring
- 3+ years’ experience with Tridium Niagara‑based control systems; data centre experience is a plus.
- Strong technical background in DDC/PLC logic, automation protocols, networking, and server administration.
- Ability to interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and optimise plant performance.
- Experience with BMS/SCADA platforms (e.g., Distech, Johnson Controls, Schneider, Honeywell).
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
