A Snapshot
At AirTrunk, we work together to deliver data centres that meet and grow with the needs of our customers. As Building Services Manager, reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, secure, and well‑maintained data centre environment. This role is predominantly based at our Lane Cove West facility and works closely with the broader Data Centre Operations team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead on‑site physical security operations, managing a 24/7 outsourced security team.
- Act as a customer‑facing contact to understand and deliver security and facilities requirements with a strong service mindset.
- Support the management of security incidents and emergency responses, including coordination, investigation, and remediation.
- Manage all soft services across the site, including cleaning, waste, landscaping, pest control, and general facilities maintenance.
- Establish service agreements, manage supplier performance, and ensure compliance with AirTrunk and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Coordinate front‑of‑house services such as loading dock operations, access clearances, offices, and meeting rooms.
- Support audits, accreditations, minor capital works, budgeting inputs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in facilities management, security operations, or front‑of‑house services.
- Proven experience managing third‑party service providers, contracts, and performance metrics.
- Strong capability in operational compliance, process improvement, and budget management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
