Your future role
Reporting to the Site Process & Manufacturing Engineering Manager, join us in this newly created role on a full time permanent role, based at our Rollingstock Manufacturing Site in Dandenong. The successful candidate will be guiding the industrial ergonomics of the site's manufacturing activities. You will structure the ergonomic approach of the site, adapt the industrial work to the human being, and train cross-functional teams around ergonomics.
A bit about your new role:
- Adapt the work to the human being
- Structure the ergonomic approach of the site
- Train, support and mobilize the various actors during the projects around ergonomics (PME, Production, Logistics, Tooling)
- Participate to design phases for critical assemblies on which simulations tools are required to check relevancy of industrial orientations vs Return on Experience
- Ensure proper implementation of standards and assessment tools
- Monitor site performance vs ergo indicators and dashboard
- Ensure the application of the ergo ALSTOM standards in industrial activities by integrating the Alstom Performance System (APSYS) requirements
- Represent site interest in ergonomics at APAC region level

- Ergonomics Degree (or an equivalent)
- Relevant experience with methodology of ergonomic intervention as well as knowledge of people at work organizations (anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, psychology)
- Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) with Human Factors & Ergonomics Society of Australia (HFESA), or eligible for certification
- Experience in industrial environments, preferably in the railway industry
- Experience in project management
- Working knowledge in Quality and EHS standards
- Familiar with ergonomic analysis tools
