AWS ANZ Early Careers Program Manager
At Amazon and AWS, we believe in ‘Hire and Develop the Best’. We want to develop the next generation of leaders for our organization through Early Career Programs. As an AWS ANZ Early Careers Manager, you will own the design, development, and implementation of AWS Early Career Programs (internships and graduate programs) to develop junior talent across Australia and New Zealand. You will work with our internal teams (Recruitment, Human Resources, and senior business leaders) to own and manage the internship and graduate programs from end to end (onboarding, enablement, learning and development, performance management, role assignment, and career development). You will execute the APAC AWS Early Career Programs framework, and adapt it to local ANZ context. You will partner senior business leaders on project/rotation assignment and performance management of program participants. You will also establish an early career reporting dashboard and metrics to measure the success of the programs and track performance and career development of program participants.

  • Demonstrates strong project and program management capabilities
  • Possesses strong teamwork, problem-solving, and execution skills
  • Is creative, analytical, and customer-obsessed (i.e. thinks about the needs of early careers talent, universities/colleges, and the business)
  • Is highly organized and is able to multi-task and prioritize competing requests from different stakeholders
  • Is able to earn trust and influence others to drive actions
  • Possesses a ‘can-do’ spirit
  • Is attentive to details and insists on the highest standards
  • Has strong, versatile communication skills, capable of flexing communication style toward both junior and senior stakeholders
  • Able to operate in a lean, fast-paced, entrepreneurial, multi-cultural environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent English written and oral communications skills
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in leading and developing early career programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 4 years of experience in project/program management
  • Experience with talent management and working with/developing early-in-career professionals
  • Experience with employee Learning & Development (L&D)
